Download the Official Windows 10 20H1 ISO Images

Microsoft has released the first official ISO images of Windows 10 20H1, the OS feature update projected to be launched in the spring of 2020.

Windows 10 20H1 is currently in preview stage, and it can be downloaded by Windows insiders who are part of the Fast ring.

The new ISOs are for Windows 10 build 18912, which was shipped to the Fast ring a few days ago, and come in three different versions, namely Home, Enterprise, and Home China.

Microsoft has also changed the way ISOs are listed on the Insider download page, as the company now displays the images offered to Fast and Slow ring users.

In addition to the Fast ring ISOs, Microsoft also lists system images for Slow ring insiders, albeit the existing listing points to build 18343 as the most recent release for this channel. However, the Slow ring is already running the RTM build of Windows 10 May 2019 Update, therefore the ISO offered here is an older release.

The same versions for Home, Home China, and Enterprise SKUs are available for the Slow ring too.

So where’s 19H2?

ISO images can be used by testers to clean-install Windows 10 and start from scratch, which is something that’s often recommended in the Insider program, especially if users come across bugs in the operating system. Needless to say, they can also be used for testing in a virtual machine.

While Microsoft is currently offering ISO images for Windows 10 pre-version 1903 and 20H1, users are also waiting for testing builds of the next feature update due in the fall. Codenamed 19H2, this particular update is yet to reach the Windows Insider testing stage, despite the fact that we’re getting closer to its expected completion date due in September.

Rumor has it this update will be more of a service pack, and this could explain why Microsoft hasn’t yet started the public testing in the Insider program.
